Interview
How doesn’t feel nervous before a job interview?
Well, some people feel a bit less nervous as they know that their odds of getting the job are better than most peoples.
These people are the ones who have done lots of interview preparation. Research shows that people who are well prepared increase their odds of getting the job many times over.
The myth is that confidence and charisma allows you to do well in an interview. The research says otherwise. 93% of employability is determined by your level of preparation before an interview. Against this only 10% of people spend two hours of more preparing for a job interview. This seems amazing given how many hours people will spend complaining about their jobs.
As this infographic from Acuity Training shows there are five key areas to focus on if you want to perform well in an interview. Just one evening spent working on them will help your chances at your next interview hugely.
