QMEE’S MOST RESEARCHED U.S. GETAWAYS BY CITY

Ever wonder where residents of summer vacation hot spots like Miami, Las Vegas or San Diego look to getaway? How about New Yorkers or Chicagoans?

Based on research conducted by Qmee, a start-up browser application, Americans from across the country like to go near and far, nationally and internationally, for their summer travels.

In case you’re not familiar with Qmee, it’s a London-based startup that rewards its users for browsing the internet. The application links to all of the big search engines like Google, Bing, Amazon, Ebay and Yahoo, then pays individuals based on their search preferences.

As you may know, many of the online search giants steer people toward links and paid online ads, but Qmee aims to democratize the internet by rewarding those who use the service. A lot like Uber or AirBnB, Qmee focuses on putting the user at the center of the internet by paying them to do something that they’re already doing.

Imagine being paid to do everyday, routine things like flipping on a light switch or eating a sandwich—that’s the simplicity of Qmee.
